According to the latest regulations on documents for exports to Malaysia, the following information should be noted:
The complete company name and address of the shipper (non - Malaysian company or individual) must be shown on the bill of lading.
The consignee must be a local company in Malaysia. Provide the complete company name and address of the consignee, which must be shown on the bill of lading. If the consignee is To Order, the notify party shall provide the complete company name and address in accordance with the above requirements.
If the goods are transported to a third country via Malaysia, the consignee should be shown as C/O local company in Malaysia, and the address of the Malaysian company should be provided.
If the consignee is a bank, the consignee on the bill of lading should be shown as To Order of xxx bank.
Consolidated shipments (Breakbulk Shipment) are not accepted.
All goods destined for Malaysia or transiting through Malaysia must provide a 6 - digit HS CODE. If there are mixed goods involving different HS CODES, please provide the goods information separately to avoid incomplete declaration.
If the goods being transported are vehicles (except tractors), the following information must be provided and shown:

Model
Chassis Number
Engine Number (not applicable toNew energyautomobiles / electric vehicles)
Purpose / New or Used (U / N)
Engine Displacement (not applicable to new energy vehicles / electric vehicles)
Year of Manufacturing
Country of Origin
The final port of discharge must be shown on the bill of lading.
